The truth is people are living longer, in 2017 approximately 1 in 7 Australians were over 65 years old. This has led to huge growth within the sector with around 2,672 aged care facilities currently servicing over 200,000 Australians as of 2020. In addition to this there has been huge expansion within the community aged care space with more Australians choosing to remain in their own home.
The downside of this growth has been the obvious skills gap that has been created. This means our clients need to work
